Through The Looking Glass

I woke up this morning and looked at the glass
I stared at the image reflected
Not sure what to think of it
Not certain how to describe it
A girl for sure
Some shade of brown skin, hair, and eyes
Slender build
Tall stature
Two eyes
One nose
Two sets of dimples
One strained smile
Why is it so hard for her to smile?
When was the last time she genuinely smiled?
What is the cause and effect of her smile?
Where did her smile go?
Two eyes
One nose
Two sets of dimples
One clenched mouth
Why is it so easy for her not to say a word?
When was the last time she had no anxiety when it is her turn to speak?
What affect has others had on her speech?
Where did she lose her voice?
Two eyes
One nose
Two sets of dimples
One very active mind
Why is her mind ever churning?
When did she first become aware?
What thought permeate subconscious?
Where did she lose her mind?
Why is it so hard to show the public more?
When did she adopt the singular expression?
What is the real dynamic under the stoic picture?
Where did she lose her expression?
I woke up this morning and looked at the glass
I stared at the reflected image
Not sure what to think of it
Not quite certain how to describe it
